Innovation Place Tenants Nominated For STIC Awards

Congratulations to the following Innovation Place tenants, nominated for the 2018 STIC (Science, Technology, Innovation and Collaboration) Awards.

The companies, all located at Co.Labs in Saskatoon, were nominated for the Product Award, recognizing an innovative product or service that has significantly impacted its sector.

  • Brillist Better Products
    Created project optimization software that makes efficient use of project resources

  • SafetyTek
    Created a platform that enforces a company's safety program by tracking real-time activity

  • SkillShark
    Created an app that allows coaches to evaluate athletes and generate reports 

Viking Innovations, a former Innovation Place tenant and Co.Labs company was also nominated for the Product Award. The company developed the Dalmation Fire Prevention System for households.

SaskTech was nominated for the Team Award, recognizing a passionate, knowledgeable and collaborative team that has made unique contributions to their sector. Several Innovation Place tenants and Co.Labs companies are members of SaskTech, a key organization representing the interests of Saskatchewan technology companies.

The STIC Awards, presented by the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) and Innovation Place, honour the people, projects and products that contribute to Saskatoon's world-class science and technology cluster. 

The awards ceremony takes place Thursday, November 22 in Saskatoon.
