Brillist Among Women-Run Companies in Lazaridis Scaleup Cohort

Laurier University’s Lazaridis Institute has chosen10 women-led Canadian tech companies to participate in the fourth cohort of its ScaleUp program, starting March 7.

Brillist, a Co.Labs company located at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, will join the elite 'Lazaridis10'.

Led by Sheila Maithel, Brillist provides software designed to eliminate inefficiencies out of project schedules. The software is used by many manufacturing and construction companies, ranging from Fortune 500 multi-nationals to local, family-owned fabricators and contractors.

The ScaleUp program addresses specific challenges companies face as they scale their business. During the six-month program, participants will travel to six cities across North America for workshops with industry experts.

This is the second Innovation Place tenant to be selected for the ScaleUp program. In 2018, TinyEYE Therapy Services participated in the third cohort.
