ComIT Returns to Innovation Place

In partnership with Innovation Saskatchewan and Innovation Place, ComIT will again offer fully funded IT training to eligible youth in Saskatchewan. Two courses are scheduled to begin this fall.

Recode Your Future: Node.js will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting September 19 until December 18 at Innovation Place in Regina.

Recode Your Future: REACT will run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting September 23 until December 20 at Innovation Place in Saskatoon.

ComIT is a non-profit organization dedicated to training youth in tech, based on labour market needs. Eligible applicants will receive funding for training as well as assistance finding employment.

ComIT was established in 2011 by Argentinian co-founders Pablo Listingart and Maria Soledad Acuña. Originally based in South America, the organization has helped hundreds of eligible youth who couldn't otherwise afford formal training. The program launched in Canada in 2016.

Innovation Place is proud to sponsor ComIT and welcomes the opportunity to help grow Saskatchewan's vibrant tech sector.
