SafetyTek and Co.Labs Among STIC Award Recipients

On November 14, Saskatoon's world-class science and tech cluster was showcased at the 2019 STIC (Science, Technology, Innovation and Collaboration) Awards.

Approximately 200 people attended this year's event, presented by the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) and Innovation Place.​

SafetyTek – Product Award
Sponsored by Innovation Place, this award recognizes an innovative product or service that has significantly impacted its sector. SafetyTek, a Co.Lab company at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, provides comprehensive software for corporate safety programs that tracks real-time user activity.​

Co.Labs – Team Award
Sponsored by the Canadian Light Source, this award recognizes a passionate, knowledgeable and collaborative team that has made unique contributions to its sector. Co.Labs, Saskatchewan's first technology incubator, is located at Innovation Place in Saskatoon.

University of Saskatchewan Space Design Team CubeSat Project – Outstanding Initiative Award
