Updates & Resources for Innovation Place Tenants

The health and safety of our tenants, staff and guests is our top priority. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic while following direction from provincial and federal health authorities.

Innovation Place Updates

Please be reminded that masks are mandatory in all common areas of our buildings, including elevators, hallways and stairwells. An exception is given to those who are eating alone at a table in the common area, however, it is expected that the mask be put back on immediately after eating.

We continue to provide a safe environment for our tenants and staff by maintaining these protocols:

  • Janitorial staff are providing frequent, ongoing sanitation of touch surfaces in our buildings. Protocol has been implemented for deep cleaning/sanitation of space, should an occupant of one of our buildings test positive. Please continue to advise our team should you become aware of a presumptive or positive case. If additional cleaning is required within your space as part of your return to work plan, please let us know.
  • Common area furniture (both interior and exterior) is reduced to accommodate 2-metre physical distancing. Please do not relocate furniture from its current location.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed in various common areas for your use.
  • Our meetings room capacities are modified to maintain 2-metre physical distancing. Upgraded video conferencing equipment is installed in most Saskatoon meeting rooms and is compatible with a variety of platforms (e.g., Webex, Teams, Zoom). We anticipate food/beverage service to resume upon Phase 2 of the Reopen Plan, projected to occur on June 20, as per government guidelines.
  • Fitness Centres are available for use via an online booking system and masks are mandatory within our Fitness Centres at all times. Please visit our Fitness Centre page for more information.
  • The Games Room is available for use via our online booking system for 2-hour time slots. Maximum capicity is 4 people, masks are required at all times, equipment must be sanitized before and after use and remember to physically distance where possible.
  • Innovation Place reception areas (Regina Administration Office, Saskatoon Administration Office and Saskatoon Maintenance Office) are open to the public and will continue to be closed between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • In-person events and programming remain postponed. Visit Our Community for ongoing events.
  • Our building systems have continued to run as per usual. There have been no disruptions to our heating, cooling or ventilation systems or the required maintenance of these systems.
  • There have been no disruptions to the potable water supply in the park. Common area water fountains have been temporarily shut off but water bottle fill stations are still available for use.
  • No modifications have been made to parking lots or bike storage locations. Please continue to exercise physical distancing in these areas.
  • Signage is installed throughout our buildings to ensure protocols are followed. Please keep an eye out for these signs, specifically located near entrances, elevators, stairwells, common corridors and seating areas.

Thanks again to all members of our community for doing your part to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and for taking care of yourselves and each other. Please continue to adhere to physical distancing regulations and good hygiene practices. Together, we can make a difference in keeping each other safe.

Safety is our first priority at Innovation Place. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
