Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.
Once again, Innovation Place is pleased to sponsor Global Game Jam, the world's largest game jam event. Global Game Jam Regina will take place January 31 - February 2 in the Terrace Rotunda (10 Research Drive) at Innovation Place.
The event kicks off on Friday, January 31 with a short video keynote and a central theme announcement. Participants at game jam sites around the world are then challenged to make games based on that same theme. Teams are formed and game development takes place over the next 48 hours. The event concludes with game demos on Sunday, February 2.
