Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.
Innovation Saskatchewan recently featured Let’s Camp, a reservation system for campgrounds, as a success story.
Let’s Camp is an online reservation system that allows campgrounds across Canada to easily manage their bookings and has already reported clients seeing a 400% increase in their online bookings. The team is currently working on building a central website for all campgrounds so future campers can easily browse in one place.
Let’s Camp was founded in Saskatoon and is the brainchild of Mike Yasieniuk, founder of YasTech, a company in the Co.Launch cohort of the Co.Labs accelerator.
Innovation Saskatchewan and Co.Labs, Saskatchewan's first technology incubator, are both located at Innovation Place in Saskatoon.
