Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.
You heard right! As of Monday, February 24, Amazon is increasing the AWS credits Innovation Place tenants can claim from $3,000 to $5,000. Amazing! Being a tenant at Innovation Place just got that much better.
Here’s a rundown of what Innovation Place tenants could be eligible for in their benefits packages and an FAQ about the changes.
What could you be eligible for as an Innovation Place Tenant?
- $5,000 in AWS Promotional Credit valid for 2 years
- 1 year of Business Support (up to $1,500)
- Opportunities to Qualify for Additional Credits
What do you need to know?
- AWS provides startups with low-cost, easy-to-use infrastructure needed to scale and grow any size business
- If your business applied for Innovation Place’s previous benefits, it is recommended you use the majority of your initial credits before seeking additional credits (applying immediately “starts the clock” on credits and may result in earlier expiration dates)
- Once you have used the majority of the initial package, you are welcome to contact AWS to see if you qualify for more credits
