Co.Labs Announces New Executive Director Matt Stefan

Congratulations to Matt Stefan the new incoming Executive Director for Co.Labs! Matt has had multiple roles within the tech and startup sectors and will undoubtedly bring an exciting and creative vision to this new chapter of Co.Labs.

Co.Labs, Saskatchewan’s first technology incubator and tenant at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, launched in 2017. Since that time Co.Labs has created four successful programs — Co.Learn, Co.Launch, Co.Link and Co.Lead — that help grow startups in Saskatchewan, providing support, mentorship and beyond, and have some of Saskatchewan’s biggest success stories, like SalonScale as their grads. More than inventive programming, Co.Labs has become the heart of Saskatoon’s startup ecosystem hosting events like Co.mmunity Night, Ladies in Tech and Uniting the Prairies that bring attention to the province and create a community among the tech sector.

We look forward to working with Matt and Co.Labs to continue our work helping to grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector and would like to thank Founder and outgoing Executive Director Jordan Dutchak and Co-Founder and outgoing Program Director Alex Shimla for their dedication to Co.Labs and vision for the Saskatchewan tech sector. We are honoured and proud to have worked with you and look forward to what you both do next!
