Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.
The Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF), a tenant at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, invested over $1 million in grants to support research teams developing virtual care approaches to health challenges facing the province.
The grants are part of SHRF’s new Solutions Program that aims to mobilize the research community to focus and coordinate its diverse skills and perspectives to address timely Saskatchewan health challenges.
The grants were awarded in two categories -- Impact and Innovation -- and two Innovation grants were awarded in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
For more information on the program and its recipients, read here.
SHRF is the provincial funding agency that funds, supports and promotes the impact of health research that matters to Saskatchewan.
