Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.
Genome Prairie and Saskatchewan Polytechnic have partnered to support increased hands-on genomics training capabilities and to help bring the Genome360 initiative to Saskatchewan.
The Genome360 initiative, by Genome Prairie and its partners, provides access to the latest sequencing and bioinformatics services and equipment and is active in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The partnership's main goal will be increasing training capabilities in genome sequencing through multiple programs and will also bring a new mobile lab to the Sask Polytech BioScience Applied Research Centre.
