SalonScale CEO and Co-Founder Alicia Soulier is nominated for a YWCA Saskatoon Women of Distinction Award in the Entrepreneurship category. The Entrepreneurship Award recognizes successful entrepreneurs whose leadership and business ventures have influenced social good and positive change for the community.
Since its start, SalonScale has achieved tremendous growth, growing an unprecedented 101% during March 2020 and has continued to expand both its team and services and products to customers. This impressive trajectory is complemented by SalonScale’s commitment to its community with its customer-focused initiatives and vibrant social media presence.
At the start of the pandemic in March, SalonScale stopped collecting payments from clients until July 1 to ease pressure on their customers as salons shut down globally. They also launched the #SalonScaleMovement, a social media initiative aimed at empowering their community to see themselves as successful business owners and leaders and provide business education and tools.
Congrats to all the nominees and to Alicia and the entire SalonScale team on this nomination! We may be biased, but we think you’re pretty stiff competition!
