We build powerfully simple mobile-based scale solutions for agriculture. We collect and provide valuable and reliable data that helps our customers achieve higher productivity, profitability, and efficiency on their farms. Agrimatics is a world leader in precision agriculture products and services. We use tablet and smartphone-based platforms to change the industry.
Agrimatics began when founders Ian Meier and Michael Lockerbie saw an opportunity to leverage modern mobile devices for agriculture. As a result, we have become a global leader in mobile-based technology for precision farming.
Our products simplify farming operations through automation and facilitate precision farming with high accuracy data capture systems. This makes our customers’ farms both in Saskatchewan and the rest of the world more efficient and helps to boost food production. More locally, we are headquartered in Saskatchewan where we carry out advanced R&D and production, contributing to the local tech ecosphere and employing local talent.
Our proudest achievement is our flagship product, Libra Cart. It is an easy-to-use grain cart weighing system that collects harvest data automatically. It has won many product awards, and we consistently hear how important of a tool it is for our customers and how much they love and can't live without it.
Teamwork and customer engagement are very important in our business as we seek to come together to find solutions for the farming community in a relatable and easy way.
We are a member of Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP), which helps companies in various industries export their products or services by providing funding, market research, trade missions, and contacts and resources. Being a STEP member has been very valuable for us.
We are focused on taking the success we’ve had in Canada, the United States and Australia with our award-winning products to other markets around the world.
Innovation Place has been a great place to work and grow as a company. Since it is home to many other tech companies, we get to be around and build connections with like-minded people and companies from which we've been able to gather inspiration and knowledge from. We've also really enjoyed the amenities the park has — not only is it a beautiful space to work in (both inside and outside), but we also enjoy attending the many events throughout the year, such as the lunch and learns, Pi O'Clock, and other networking events.
We have a great work environment where we like to get to business but we also like having candid talks to catch up with everyone. It keeps things light and builds a healthy culture to work in.
Excellent customer service is critical. No matter what industry you're in or what product you sell, you can stand out against the competition if you continually keep customer service as a company priority. It is one of the best ways to gain trust and positive word-of-mouth, in which both can go a long way.
